COVID hits IPL 2021: 2 members of Chennai Super Kings test positive in Delhi
Three members of the Chennai Super Kings franchise have tested positive for Covid-19.
CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan, bowling coach L Balaji and a bus cleaner have reportedly returned positive results.
None of the players have contracted the virus after a fresh round of tests were conducted on Sunday.
The CSK squad is currently stationed in Delhi and had to cancel their practice session after the news of the positive results broke out.
IPL 2021 is being played in bio-bubbles across 6 cities - Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata, Ahmedabad and Bengaluru.
The news from the CSK camp comes just hours after two Kolkata Knight Riders players tested positive for coronavirus which forced IPL organisers to postpone Monday's match.
