UP CM Yogi Adityanath ate lunch at a Dalit party worker's home today. While some are tagging this as a damage control step to appease the Dalit vote bank, others are lauding him for his strong message against caste politics. 

This comes at a time when more than 9 BJP MLAs, have left the party citing the party's negligence towards minorities. Notably Yogi has had food with Dalit workers many times in the past.

On the occasion of Makar Sankranti, UP CM Yogi Adityanath ate lunch at a Dalit's home today. This comes at a time when more than 9 BJP MLAs, including 3 ministers of the Yogi cabinet, have left the party citing negligence towards minorities.

In the past CM Yogi has celebrated festivals among Dalits and tribes. On the occasion of Diwali, he went among the Vantangis where he celebrated Diwali. But at this point when ministers are quitting the saffron party, the act is being observed as something the UP CM is doing to save the party's share of seats in the upcoming elections.
